As a Software Developer Intern, you will work with a team of software developers supporting engineering applications in the Westinghouse Instrumentation & Controls organization. As part of this team, you will collaborate with senior developers in making improvements to enhance the usability of I&C engineering tools. This effort will include gathering requirements, implementing code changes, testing, and documenting tool features.
You will report to the Supervisor GIC Tools & Applications and be located at our Warrendale facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to Westinghouse's nuclear safety culture and follow all company policies
- Support the team in understanding customer needs and developing technical solutions across the full software lifecycle
- Develop positive working relationships with team members, internal partners, and collaborating organizations
