ABOUT THE CO-OP PROGRAM

Bose Corporation is seeking students to participate in our Co-op Program who share our belief that sound is power. During the six-month co-op, students will have the chance to apply classroom learning in a hands-on work environment. Co-op participants will network across the business to gain diverse perspectives within Bose Corporation. Additionally, co-ops will connect with other students and colleagues, building valuable professional relationships for the future.

Fall Co-op: Candidates must be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) in a hybrid, in-office format from July 13 through December 18, 2026. No relocation assistance is available.

Being currently authorized to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position.

THE ROLE

Join our Audio Technology team as a Software Engineer Co-op and gain hands-on experience developing software for cutting-edge audio systems. You will work alongside experienced engineers to design, implement, and test audio features for embedded platforms and applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in developing and testing embedded software components for audio systems.
  • Support implementation of audio features and integration with embedded platforms.
  • Help debug and resolve audio-related issues across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integration and validation tasks.
  • Document code, processes, and test results.

REQUIREMENTS

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Familiarity with C/C++ and Python programming.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
