Position Summary:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
  • Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements
  • Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities
  • Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements
  • Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
  • Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas

    Required Qualifications:

     • 10+ years proven hands-on experience in IBM Sterling Integrator 5.2.6 or above, Sterling Secure Proxy (SSP), SSP-Configuration Manager, SSP-External Authenticator and Sterling Integrator Implementations, Installations, and patches.

     • Prior experience with IBM SI 5.x upgrade.

     • Extensive knowledge of BPML - Business Process Development, Knowledge of XPath, XML and XSLT

     • Experience with Linux, Unix, Shell Scripting, Networking/LTM/GTM, design and architecture of authentication services.

     • Knowledge and understanding of setting up of SFTP, AS2 and Connect Direct transmissions.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Proficient in articulating facts and data-driven plans and ability to partner with stakeholders to implement intended solutions to drive risk reductions and adherence to relevant requirement and standards.

     • Strong attention to detail and advanced analytical skills.

     • Excellent organizational skills and be able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.

     • Hands on experience and involvement in large and complex projects.

     • Demonstrates ability to identify root causes to solve complex problems.

     • Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
