The %3Cstrong%3ESoftware Engineer%3C/strong%3E will collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing API solutions while driving automation, DevSecOps practices, and continuous delivery.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3EResponsibilities:%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3EDesign, develop, test, deploy, and support APIs and web services that enable data integration. Collaborate with a cross-functional agile team to deliver scalable and reliable integration solutions.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPartner with Architecture and Development teams to implement enterprise integration and API strategies%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EDevelop and maintain RESTful and SOAP-based services using modern integration and API management platforms.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EImplement API security standards, including OAuth, JWT, JWE, and other authentication/authorization mechanisms.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EHave good emotional intelligence and empathy when interacting with others.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EParticipate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture initiatives.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAnalyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable API solutions.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPerform other duties as assigned.%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3Cp%3E%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3EQualifications:%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3E8+ years of Software Engineering experience. Bachelors in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.%26nbsp; A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExperience with Java 17 or newer along with Spring or Spring Boot experience%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExperience in designing and developing RESTful service and SOAP-based service.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExperience with relational databases like PostgreSQL and SQL Serve%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExperience building applications using Docker and Kubernetes%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExperience developing applications with AI tools like GitHub Copilot%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExperience developing APIs and web services using API management and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) platforms is a plus%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EHands-on experience with Apigee, IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) platforms is a plus%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3Cp%3E%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3ELocation:%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis position has a hybrid work from home schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the office at the new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah.
