Let’s Talk about Responsibilities:

Cloud & Serverless Development

  • Assist in building and deploying AWS Lambda functions
  • Help configure and integrate API Gateway endpoints
  • Work with DynamoDB and S3 for data storage
  • Support infrastructure setup under supervision (CDK / CloudFormation exposure preferred)
  • Participate in debugging, monitoring, and logging in cloud environments

Backend Development (.NET)

  • Develop and maintain backend APIs using C# and .NET
  • Implement business logic under guidance
  • Write unit tests for backend services
  • Assist with API validation and data transformations

AI & Automation

  • Support implementation of AI agents or AI-driven workflows
  • Integrate LLM APIs into backend systems
  • Assist in building prompt-driven workflows and agent orchestration patterns
  • Evaluate and experiment with AI tools for internal automation

Engineering Best Practices

  • Follow secure coding practices
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Write technical documentation
  • Collaborate in sprint planning and retrospectives
  • Learn and apply CI/CD principles

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • Ability to work full-time for 12 weeks during Summer 2026; program dates are May 18th – August 7th, 2026, OR June 15th – September 4th, 2026. Preference for Cohort B.
  • Currently pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related.
  • Hands-on experience with: C# / .NET, REST APIs, Git
  • Exposure to AWS (even academic projects or labs acceptable)
  • Demonstrated experience or strong interest in: AI agents, LLM-based applications, Prompt engineering or AI API integration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with AWS: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner certification
  • Experience building: AI-powered applications, Automation bots, Conversational AI tools
  • Understanding of authentication concepts (JWT, OAuth basics)
