Software Engineer Intern

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on designing, building, testing, and deploying software applications.
• Follow and improve development, testing, and deployment best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Support internal customers by answering technical questions or helping troubleshoot issues.
• Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
• Understand. Create. Simplify.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field with at least one year of technical coursework completed.
• Able to work part‑time during the academic year and full‑time during the summer.
• Collaborates in a team environment.
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
• Excellent writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Experience with web application development and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with relation databases, restful api, modern web application technologies.
• Experience with version control, IDEs, testing frameworks.
• Familiarities with technologies we use is a plus.
• Background check results satisfactory to SEL.
• Negative drug test result(s).
