About G2’s Intern Program

G2’s Intern Program is back for its 6th amazing summer! You’ll work closely with leaders and peers throughout the 10 weeks- focusing on making a real impact on G2, with a final presentation about your work to our Executive & Senior Leadership Teams. We’ve packed the summer full of professional development and social events to lay the foundation for your career, ensuring you’ll have a balanced experience over the course of the 10 weeks.

G2 Intern Program Details

  • 10 weeks: June 1 - August 7
  • Hybrid: Tuesday through Thursday required in-person at our Downtown Chicago HQ
  • Pay: $20/hour; 40 hours a week

About The Role

As a member of G2’s Summer Internship Program, you will have the opportunity to join an exciting Product team, complete a variety of projects, and participate in professional development events. You’ll work closely with an Intern Mentor who will support you throughout the Program. You will be fully immersed into the team, and exposed to all the teams’ activities, such as planning and refining work, negotiating with product and engineering for priorities, development, testing, debugging and deployment (to production) of work. No two days are the same at G2 and your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but you will create and deploy code from source control to our live G2 website.

Requirements

  • A rising Junior or Senior at an accredited college or university
  • Experience building a web-based application using frameworks like Django, Ruby on Rails or Next.js is required
  • Experience using AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) or programmatic AI integrations (e.g., OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, LangChain) to accelerate development or build AI-driven features.
  • Hands-on experience building or experimenting with AI-powered applications, demonstrating meaningful time investment in modern AI tools and frameworks.
