As a Software Engineering Intern, you will support the development, testing, and data‑analysis activities associated with safety‑critical industrial control systems. You will work with experienced engineers to design, implement, and validate software used in high‑reliability applications.
You will report to the Manager, I&C Safety Software and be located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software tools and components using C# or C++
- Support automated testing, simulation, and verification workflows
- Use Azure DevOps and Git for version control, work tracking, and CI/CD processes
- Create or enhance Power BI dashboards to visualize metrics and support engineering decisions
- Participate in structured engineering processes, reviews, and documentation updates related to safety‑critical software development
