Job Description
Plans, conducts, and coordinates software
development activities. Designs, develops,
documents, tests, and debugs software that
contains logical and mathematical solutions to
business/mission problems or questions in
computer language for solutions by means of
data processing equipment. Applies the
appropriate standards, processes, procedures,
and tools throughout the development life
cycle. Applies knowledge of computer
hardware and software, subject matter to be
programmed in business/mission applications,
information processing techniques used, and
information gathered from system users to
develop software. Corrects program errors,
prepares operating instructions, compiles
documentation of program development, and
analyzes system capabilities to resolve
questions of program intent, output
requirements, input data acquisition,
programming techniques, and controls.
Ensures software standards are met.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in
a related discipline, or equivalent experience/

Helmet Mounted Display (HMD) Team. This
candidate will work closely with the software
development teams to verify that they are
adhering to the latest software development
plans, creating customer value and delivering
measurable business benefits.
This candidate will be responsible for the
delivery of software products to the customer
and help to define what this role looks like in
the future for software product managers.
They will be interfacing with developers,
customers, and key team members to help
define the automation efforts needed to
automate the current software development
processes. The selected candidate will look for
areas to improve the current process and
leverage new infrastructure and techniques to
enable more frequent delivery while ensuring
software quality.
The ideal candidate will be a member of a
high-performing team and must be self motivated with an excellent work ethic, time management, and interpersonal skills. Must
have demonstrated effective communication
skills as the position will require frequent inter organizational and outside customer
interactions.

located at a facility that requires special access
and an Interim Secret clearance to start.***

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 - $236,325. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
