Americas Residential, a division of ASSA ABLOY is seeking a highly motivated Software Product Management Intern to work in our headquarter office in Lake Forest, CA. This role will offer you the opportunity to be a part of a global company and a market leader in faucets, fixtures and locks.
The Software Product Management Intern will support the product team in delivering high‑quality software for consumer electronics, specifically smart lock products. The role involves gathering and organizing requirements, maintaining product documentation, supporting roadmap planning, and contributing to daily product development activities. The intern will gain hands-on experience with product management methodologies, cross‑functional collaboration, and smart home technologies. Must be available to work onsite in our Lake Forest office 3 days a week for our hybrid schedule – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Will be remote Mondays and Fridays.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Capture, organize, and clearly document software requirements to support roadmap planning.
- Draft, update, and manage product documentation including user guides, FAQs, and release notes.
- Contribute to the App, Cloud, and Firmware release support activities.
- Evaluate user feedback and compile comprehensive insights and reports to identify areas of improvement.
- Support product roadmap creation and alignment with business objectives and data insights.
- Manage workflows and tasks using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, FigJam, and AI platforms.
