Spanish Teacher, Part-time

Description

St. Teresa Catholic School is seeking an innovative, enthusiastic and faith-filled Spanish teacher. The ideal candidate would be a Catholic who is able to differentiate instruction and utilize various teaching techniques that would promote creativity and inspire a love for the Spanish language in our students. The candidate should display a love for learning, familiarity with the latest trends in educational technology, and the ability to bring the curriculum alive, and work well with a team. This is a part–time position, with flexibility in scheduling. 

Minimum Qualifications

· Have a BA in a related field from an Accredited College or University

· Current Florida Teaching Certificate or Letter of Eligibility

· Spanish Teaching experience

· Ability to evaluate, document, and communicate individual student growth

· Strong classroom management

· Candidate should be able to use various teaching techniques with the ability to integrate technology in the classroom.

· Willingness to participate in professional development opportunities

· Employment is contingent on the applicant passing a full background check

· Upon employment, individual will be subject to a 90-day probationary period

Preference will be given to practicing Catholics
