Position Summary
Under the supervision of the HR Manager/Supervisor, the position is primarily responsible for overseeing key HR functions in benefits administration, accounts payable, accounts receivable, compensation, employee relations, implementing company policies, and other functions of human resources. This role involves administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records and ensuring legal compliance, while also often giving support to team members.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Benefits Administration:
- Planning, implementing, and overseeing the company's open benefits enrollment.
- Ensure that the company complies with regulations.
- Identifies opportunities to educate employees on their benefits.
- Shares information with all levels of management on benefit changes.
- Assists with new hire benefit enrollment.
- Plans and oversees the wellness events.
- Oversees benefit arrears.
- Maintains required reports for perfect attendance, gym reimbursements, and other positive work environment activities.
- Collaborates with management to schedule service awards.
Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable:
- Collaborates with management and the home office on all accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Collaborates with vendors and contractors on contracts, leases, and COI.
- Gathers data and leads the WV Grants process.
- Process driver expenses.
- Assist with determining the budget.
- Oversees the processing of the incentive awards.
Employee relations:
- Guiding employees on HR procedures and policies, managing complaints, and contributing to a positive work environment
HR administration:
- Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records, monitoring policy violations, compiling reports, and handling administrative tasks related to HR functions
Other:
- Performs other duties as assigned to assist the HR team with training manuals, payroll, leave of absence, FMLA, employee relations, new processes, attendance tracking, marketing, and employee appreciation.
Required Skills:
- High school education or equivalent. Business school, an Associate degree, or equivalent, is a plus.
- Minimum 1 year of human resources-related experience
- Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS) and other HR software preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
