Summary Statement:
Detail-oriented HR Specialist with a focus on maintaining accurate team member records, including certifications and compliance documentation, within a fast-paced luxury casino environment. Skilled in generating reports, managing employee data systems, and providing responsive support to team members at all levels. Adept at guiding staff through HR policies, procedures, and system-related tasks while upholding confidentiality and delivering exceptional service
Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to:
- Inform Team Members of expiring licensing requirements for their position and maintain records
- Respond in a timely manner to Team Members inquiries related to FMLA, Payroll, Benefits, I-9, Certification, department rules and regulations, policies and procedures and all other General HR related topics.
- Verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
- Maintains quality and consistency of HRIS database information.
- Assist with general Human Resources projects, tasks and assignments.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.
Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:
- Working knowledge of Human Resources Information System (HRIS), and other similar computer applications.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (ex. outlook, excel, word & power point, etc..)
- Excellent planning and organizing skills.
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English.
- Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
Preferred:
- Experience with I-9 administration and management highly preferred.
- Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- At least one year of HR experience.
- At least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
