Manages inventory for the Public Health Department. Orders, receives and stores medical supplies and equipment. Processes incoming and outgoing mail and make deliveries for public health sites.

Position Duties

  1. Maintains perpetual inventory and accounting of all Public Health Department stock records using computerized system.
  2. Receives and maintains stock room for department’s medical supplies and equipment.
  3. Delivers mail, supplies, and equipment to sites throughout the County.
  4. Works with departmental programmatic areas for routine inventory checks and updates.
  5. Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.  

  • Three (3) full-time years of warehouse experience required, two (2) full-time years inventory control work experience preferred.  

  • Knowledge of inventory control methodologies.  

  • Excellent organizational skills.  

  • Current and valid driver license with a good driving record.

Other Qualifications

While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent is regularly required to sit, stand, bend, walk, stoop, lift, push, and pull.
