Duties
Supports activities and services of the athletics and intramural sports program. Provides oversight of events and tournaments. Ensures adherence to regulations and safety procedures. Provides outstanding customer service with an emphasis on courtesy.,Maintains cleanliness and organization of athletic facilities. Monitors condition of, cleans, and performs minor maintenance on athletics equipment. Reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage,Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards.,Assists in setting up for special events and sports tournaments. Assistants with publicity of events and tournaments and with the delivery and placement of posters, flyers, and other promotional material.,Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following: MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of the position. Must be able to obtain a nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED. **Your resume should be clear and specific. Assumptions will not be made regarding your experience and the duties performed ** In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered Highly Preferred: HIGHLY PREFERRED: One year of full-time work experience in the sports and fitness industry. Current nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED. **To meet Highly Preferred eligibility, you must meet all Minimum and Highly Preferred Qualifications, and this information must be clearly detailed on your resume.** *Applicants meeting the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred first to the Selecting Official. All other applicants will be referred for consideration if the certificate (referral list) is returned with no selection.
