Amazon Music and Creator Services is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support our Music Merch business. This position will play a key role in driving business growth by supporting deal evaluations, performance reporting and insights, and process building and enhancements. This role will engage with executive leadership and cross functional teams to drive results.

The successful candidate will have the ability to tackle multiple projects and efficiently execute deliverables. They will have operated successfully in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment.

This position is located in Los Angeles.



Key job responsibilities
> Driving planning and budgeting and related deliverables, and ensuring financial discipline and compliance.
> Prepare financial metrics, financial reporting, and financial analysis related to music licensing deals
> Own, refine, and develop key areas of our deal valuation models and royalty reporting in Creator Services space
> Engage in strategic initiatives with high degree of ambiguity
> Manage and execute entire projects from start to finish including project management, data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendations
>Partner with multiple business stakeholders; develop action plans; measure and analyze results

Basic Qualifications

- 1+ years of finance experience
- 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science)
- Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting

Preferred Qualifications

- 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse and SQL

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
