POSITION OVERVIEW

The Sr Financial Analyst supports business decision-making through financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis. This role will play a key part in budgeting, performance tracking, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth, while serving as a key partner to internal teams and clients.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·        Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and strategic planning

·        Analyze financial performance, including variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast)

·        Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards

·        Support budgeting and forecasting processes across departments

·        Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance

·        Partner with cross-functional teams, including Corporate Accounting and Finance, and Operations and Services, to support business initiatives

·        Conduct ad hoc analysis on key business drivers and KPIs

·        Assist in preparing presentations for senior leadership, stakeholders, and clients

·        Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial systems

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

·        Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, modeling)

·        Experience with financial systems (e.g., Core) and/or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)

·        Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

·        Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

·        Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

·        5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related role, 3+ years with an MBA

·        Experience with Microsoft Office or willingness to develop system proficiency

 

Preferred Qualifications

·        MBA, CFA, or CPA (or progress toward certification)

·        Experience in the furniture, workplace solutions, or services industry

·        Experience with SQL or data analysis tools
