Responsibilities Come Join Our Team! Sr HR Generalist Full Time position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA Under the direction of the HR Director and/or HR Manager, the Sr. HR Generalist (SHRG) provides a broad range of HR support that promotes department objectives with employees and management. The SHRG formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the objectives of the organization. The SHRG is responsible for varied, complex and specialized technical and analytical Human Resources work including assistance with policy administration, performance management, and employee orientation. The SHRG maintains an effective level of business literacy about the facility’s service lines, culture and its competition. Qualifications EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University in related field required. Master's degree from an accredited College or University in related field preferred. Minimum three (3) years of experience in Human Resources required. Minimum one (1) year leadership experience in Human Resources required, acute care experience preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare or acute care hospital setting is strongly preferred to understand clinical staffing nuances and regulatory requirements. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certificate preferred. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, regulatory or accreditation requirements. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Basic to Intermediate Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to calculate figures and percentages. REASONING ABILITY: Intermediate to High Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with The Joint Commission and Title 22 standards and guidelines. Demonstrates compliance with hospital policies and procedures at all times. Ability to set priorities and appropriately organize workload and complete assignments in a timely manner. Demonstrates ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff, as well as ability to interact well with the public. Must have knowledge of PC and applications.
