This role sits at the intersection of learning, talent, employee engagement, marketing, and experience design. The ideal candidate thinks like a marketer, operates like a program manager, and cares deeply about helping employees grow. They understand that great programs only create impact when employees see their relevance and are inspired to participate.

The Senior Manager will support enterprise learning and talent initiatives, with a focus on North America onboarding, site-based learning engagement, employee communications, ERG support, learning analytics, and continuous improvement.

Here’s What You’ll Do

Lead and Evolve Learning Experiences

  • Own North America onboarding end to end, delivering virtual, in-person, and self-paced components.
  • Continuously improve onboarding to create a welcoming, useful, and energizing experience for new employees.
  • Support delivery of assigned learning and talent programs, including planning, logistics, communications, vendor coordination, and learner experience.
  • Coordinate digital and live learning experiences across modalities.
  • Ensure materials are clear, accessible, visually consistent, and aligned with Moderna’s brand and culture.

Drive Engagement Through Marketing and Storytelling

  • Create compelling communications and campaigns that help employees discover and engage with learning and talent programs.
  • Develop content such as intranet posts, short-form videos, visuals, leader messages, learner stories, and program announcements.
  • Translate learning and talent offerings into clear, relevant messages for different employee audiences.
  • Partner with internal communications, HR, and business stakeholders to increase awareness, adoption, and participation.

Partner Across Sites and Communities

  • Serve as the dedicated learning liaison for Moderna’s Norwood, MA; Marlborough, MA; and Laval, Canada sites.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and site leaders to understand local needs and bring relevant learning solutions to employees.
  • Support Moderna’s Employee Resource Groups, helping them drive engagement, inclusion, connection, and strategic value.
  • Build strong relationships across HR, Talent, Communications, Digital, site leadership, vendors, and program owners.

Use Data, Technology, and AI to Improve Impact

  • Produce a quarterly learning activity and impact dashboard.
  • Monitor program performance through feedback, participation data, usage metrics, and stakeholder input.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automate manual processes, and simplify operations.
  • Explore and adopt digital tools and emerging technologies, including AI, to improve how work gets done.
  • Support special projects across organizational development, talent development, engagement, and workforce capability.

Here’s What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in learning, talent development, employee engagement, internal communications, marketing, organizational development, or a related field.
  • Strong project and program management skills, with the ability to manage details while keeping the broader employee experience in mind.
  • Live facilitation skills
  • Strong storytelling, campaign, and communication skills, with the ability to drive awareness, adoption, and engagement.
  • Experience developing employee-facing content, campaigns, learning materials, or communications across multiple channels.
  • Ability to partner effectively with HR, business leaders, communications teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Comfort using data and feedback to assess effectiveness and improve programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Curiosity about digital tools, automation, AI, and new ways of working.
  • A creative, resourceful, and practical mindset.
