You will be the Sr. Skunk Works Subsystem Design Engineer for the Advanced Development Programs (Skunk Works®) which is responsible for advancing aerospace subsystem innovation.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Sr. Skunk Works Subsystem Design Engineer you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and validation of aircraft subsystems while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.

- Develop, test, and validate new and modified subsystem designs.
- Troubleshoot system malfunctions to determine root cause and corrective action.
- Create and maintain 3‑D CATIA models, assemblies, installations, system requirements, and interface drawings.
- Generate system requirements, conduct trade studies, and draft sub‑component and flight test plans.
- Coordinate with suppliers, integrated product teams, management, and the customer.

You are a collaborative, results‑driven engineer with
Basic Qualifications
- Experience with 3DX, CATIA, Solidworks, Pro Engineer, Creo, Unigraphics, NX, or equivalent 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool
- Experience creating and/or modifying drawings
- Experience with aircraft subsystem design, installation and troubleshooting
- Hands on experience with aircraft modifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance per business requirements
Desired skills
- Experience with metallic design
- Experience with tubing and equipment installations
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Active Secret Clearance
-5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
