PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Perform the work of any member of SSG up to (B) tech on the directional boring crew and perform the work in primary duties. Employees entering into this classification shall be required to stay in this position for a period of one year.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• To operate, winterize, and complete daily inspection and minor daily maintenance of all SSG DB equipment.
• To use DB equipment to install URD direct buried cables and associated pipe.

JOB SCOPE

• Employees entering into this classification shall be required to stay in this position for a period of one year.
• OTHER ELIGIBILITY RULES: - Lateral - Disability/Restricted Duty � submit medical release prior to selection call stating ability to report full duty within 14 calendar days - Promotion - Disability/Restricted Duty � submit medical release prior to selection call stating ability to report full duty within 21 calendar days - Pass CAST Testing, as required - Pass qualifying schools, as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• The Equipment Operator will have meet all of the qualifications of the System Technician B & C classification and continue with on- going education and safety programs.
• Maintain a valid CDL.
• Be able to interact with customers in a professional manner.
• Successfully complete training classes associated with the job duties.
• Demonstrate safe work habits.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
