What We’re Looking For:

·       Detail-oriented, analytical thinker with strong initiative

·       Effective communicator who collaborates well across departments

·       Background in a healthcare setting preferred

·       Experience preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and managing audits and budgets

·       College degree with at least 15 hours of Accounting credits

·       Proficiency with Windows applications and spreadsheet tools

·       Knowledge of HIPAA and safety practices applicable to accounting roles

What You Will Do:

Prepare and maintain financial reports and statements, ensure accuracy in journal entries and classifications, and support various special projects—all while coordinating accounting functions across departments using current technologies and systems.

·       Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial statements in line with organizational standards

·       Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts, including compiling all necessary schedules and documentation

·       Execute special projects including:

o   Year-end inventory observations

o   Support for annual budget preparation

o   Deliverables for internal and external audits

o   Survey preparation and specialized reporting

o   Ledger maintenance and other reporting duties

·       Leverage accounting systems and software to input, retrieve, and manage financial data

·       Perform additional duties as assigned
