Lenape Valley Foundation’s Fiscal Department is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our mission-driven team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in accounting while contributing to accurate financial reporting and effective fiscal operations in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (Master’s preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
  • An innate attention to detail
  • Strong analytical mindset with a passion for problem solving
  • The ability to work independently 
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the role (with or without accommodation)

Your Role

  • Perform accurate and timely accounting functions
  • Prepare and maintain monthly bank reconciliations
  • Submit complete and timely financial reports
  • Assist the Accounting Team with special projects
  • Support annual audit preparation and reconciliation
  • Prepare monthly allocations for Admin, Payroll, and other expenses
  • Assist with annual budgets and monthly Board Financial Reports
  • Perform other duties as needed
