SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB:  Entry-level position that maintains and controls business transactions of the organization, analytical work and review financial records by applying General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

 

SALARY RANGE:  Negotiable - Based on experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

  • Assists in preparing internal and external consolidated financial statements
  • Participates in month/year-end closings, account reconciliations and journal entries, accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Develop and maintain a process to record customer chargebacks, allowances and rebates
  • Handles accounts payable/receivable functions for 2 smaller companies
  • Learn and expedite other accounting duties and tasks as needed

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting with 2+ years of experience in public accounting or private industry preferred manufacturing
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel and experience with an ERP software; Microsoft D365 F&O a plus
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Creative problem-solving skills coupled with being detailed and task oriented
  • Ability to follow directions in a concise manner and works well in a team-oriented environment

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Standard office hours
  • Must be able to have a flexible work schedule when workflow requires
  • Work in a fast-paced environment
