Core Responsibilities
Responsibilities described in this section are fundamental to success in this position.
- Seek out training and development opportunities as needed to support the office team.
- Assist Accounting Manager as needed to ensure that the following processes are performed timely and accurately:
- Post payables invoices daily.
- Prepare and make bank deposits daily.
- Print payables checks bi-weekly.
- Input and reconcile fixed assets.
- Post monthly journal entries.
- Prepare cash sheets daily.
- Prepare and reconcile inter-company billings.
- Reconcile bank statements each month.
- Print monthly AR invoices and statements.
- Prepare financial statements monthly.
- Participate in supporting a positive office culture, embracing the Company CORE values and DRIVE Priorities
- Adhere to schedules and deadlines as defined by Management.
- Meet and exceed individual objectives as defined by Management.
- Assist with projects on an as needed basis.
- Enforce safety precautions specific to work area.
- Uses personal device to provide an additional layer of security for company network and site access through multi-factor authentication.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by Management.
- Responsible for performing duties listed above for Bob Moore Auto Group, LM Real Estate, Bob Moore Advertising, Business Development Center, and Dear’s Insurance.
Minimum Qualifications
The requirements listed below are the minimum degrees, certifications, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required of this position.
- High School Education or equivalent.
- Accounting Degree.
- Experience with ERP systems preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or Sage Intacct)
- Valid driver’s license without restrictions that affects your ability to operate company owned vehicle(s) and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
