With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.

Job Overview

The Staff Business Data Analyst on Intuit's Modern Ops Expert Planning team plays a critical role in shaping how we deliver world-class customer experiences at scale. This role leads the development and standardization of optimized network plans across Intuit's global GBSG operations, setting the analytical foundation that balances customer experience, employee experience, and cost efficiency at an IG level. It drives cross-functional alignment on capacity assumptions, defines the KPI frameworks and success criteria that anchor strategic decisions for new product and channel rollouts, and ensures operational readiness through rigorous analysis, forecasting, and process standardization. Operating at the intersection of data, operations, and strategy, this role partners closely with and influences Director+ stakeholders across Product, Service Delivery, Partner Management, Talent Acquisition, and Finance — and actively mentors junior analysts to raise the bar on team capability.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own optimized headcount, hiring, and capacity planning frameworks at the IG level, balancing service levels, employee experience, and cost outcomes across GBSG — and provide thought partnership to Director+ business leaders on how best to harness available data in support of critical planning needs
  • Lead capacity risk identification and mitigation across multiple concurrent initiatives, proactively surfacing roadblocks, managing cross-functional dependencies, and driving stakeholders toward resolution
  • Develop KPI frameworks and success criteria that set the planning standard at the IG level; define and standardize metrics, reporting, and decision-making infrastructure across the organization
  • Partner with and influence internal technology teams to implement new planning tools, data enhancements, and automation capabilities — with a scale mindset toward solutions others can adopt
  • Lead operational impact assessments for global product, skill, and channel launches; integrate new initiatives into long-term capacity plans and present findings to senior stakeholders for sign-off
  • Build and maintain E2E resource and delivery plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams across Service Delivery, Partner Management, Talent Acquisition, and Finance; align on staffing strategies grounded in historical trend analysis and forward-looking demand forecasts
  • Implement AI/GenAI and BI tools to solve for initiative-level planning outcomes; drive adoption of new capabilities across the planning team
  • Lead global process and reporting standardization efforts; identify and document E2E vision for scaling solutions with a clear view of tradeoffs
  • Mentor junior analysts on technical execution, storytelling, and stakeholder influence — actively contributing to team growth and analytical capability

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in capacity planning, workforce management, or labor modeling, with demonstrated ownership of complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience, including leading cross-functional delivery in ambiguous environments
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and SQL; working knowledge of big data tools (e.g. Redshift, Spark) and BI platforms (e.g. Tableau, Qlik)
  • Demonstrated ability to define KPI frameworks, model complex capacity scenarios, and translate findings into clear recommendations for Director+ and senior leaders
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills with proven ability to drive alignment and influence decisions across competing priorities and stakeholder groups
  • Track record of building scalable analytical frameworks, tools, or processes adopted beyond the immediate team
  • Experience mentoring or developing junior analysts preferred
