Job Description

We’re looking for somebody with passion and enthusiasm, as well as awareness for diversity, to enable IT development and business transformation.
As a Staff Test Engineer, you will listen to customers’ perspectives and work with Architects, Analysts, and Developers to make requirements become a reality. As a member of the 1LMX Deployment & Integrated Test COE, you willl be working directly with the Program Performance Management Community of Excellence. You will be responsible for engagement with customers, project leaders, architects, and the development team. Your daily responsibilities will include:
• designing, developing, and implementing testing methods and systems
• planning and arranging the labor, schedules, and systems required for testing and evaluation
• providing the test area with parameters for sample testing and specifying tests to be performed.
• compiling data and defining changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, processes, or new testing requirements
• testing activities both with customers and independently

Basic Qualifications
• Experience writing detailed, step by step test procedures for system functions, security, and interfaces
• Experience designing, writing, and executing test cases for both manual and automated test
• Experience in defect tracking, reporting, and resolution
• Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to achieve a shared vision
• Experience with DOORS for requirements tracking
• Experience with Agile/Scrum practices, including use of Jira
• Experience with Zephyr
• Experience designing, writing, and executing test cases for both manual and automated test
• Experience in defect tracking, reporting, and resolution
• Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to achieve a shared vision
• Experience with DOORS for requirements tracking
• Experience with Agile/Scrum practices, including use of Jira

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
