About this role

Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated and inquisitive Business Analyst Intern to support our Product Management team this summer. This internship is designed for someone who is eager to learn the basics of product management and software development lifecycle in the financial services industry while helping with real projects to gain hands‑on experience. In this role, you will assist with gathering / documenting project requirements, participating in various Agile development meetings, helping to create Agile stories that capture requirements / acceptance criteria, helping to create / maintain project documents, and working on special projects assigned during the internship.  

Project Support

• Assist with project requirements gathering for various system enhancement requests for our Investment Accounting systems.  

• Support team members by gathering information from stakeholders and documenting project details.

• Help schedule & run project meetings including creating meeting agendas.

• Assist with capturing and distributing meeting minutes leveraging CoPilot.

Reporting & Documentation

• Assist in preparing basis project updates and summaries for managers.

• Help collect data from different systems or teams as needed.

• Support creation of basic PowerPoint slides or visual updates.

• Learn how teams monitor project progress and communicate results.

General Team Support

• Help with day‑to‑day tasks that keep projects and team operations running smoothly.

• Participate in learning opportunities such as training classes, shadowing meetings, or attending team workshops

• Support business analysts in drafting Jira stories for development teams.

• Support other administrative or operational activities as assigned.

Expectations

• Works on small tasks and parts of development projects with close guidance from mentors; expected to assist rather than lead project efforts.

• Receives mentoring and training from Product Team members to build foundational skills.

• Utilizes and advances knowledge with Microsoft applications, such as, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CoPilot.  

• Gains practical experience in business analysis, process documentation, and stakeholder communication / team collaboration, which are transferable skills for product management roles in the financial services industry.

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business finance or accounting.  

• Strong interest in learning more about the financial technology industry, product management, and software development lifecycle.  

• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and synthesize insights.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Self-starter with a collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn.

Salary Range:

$41,600 - $65,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
