Job Summary
Performs mandatory rounds and inspections within the Boiler Plant. Fills out the daily log book during each shift. Fills out all mandatory State requirement sheets. Follows the State of New Jersey’s Boiler Operators responsibilities. Follows the Facilities Department and Englewood Health policies. Communicates with administration, directors, staff, patients and visitors. Exemplifies Standards of Service Excellence in all interactions with others.

Job Essentials:

• Requires a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a boiler operator
• Must have successfully completed an up-to-date State of New Jersey boiler operator’s Blue Seal license course and test
• Must know the standards of safety as outlined in the State of New Jersey’s Boiler Operators Hand Book
  
  

Education Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED and/or 3 years of documented work experience as a boiler operator/stationary engineer.

License/Certification/Registry:

• Blue Seal Boiler License or higher level required
