Job Description:

Manages diverse administrative functions usually for a very large, complex department or for a complete line of business that may be regional or national in scope, often requiring associates in one or more location. Functions managed may include: financial control/budgeting and consolidation, personnel processes, audit/compliance, premises, and coordination of certain projects, associate training, service quality, process improvement, business continuity, or communication. Consults with senior management in evaluating current methods and developing strategies to implement changes and improvements. Requires a thorough knowledge of the department or business units functional area or products. Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures and financial/accounting practices. Generally has full management responsibility over a relatively large team and may manage one or more levels of managers.

Leads the support/administrative functions for a somewhat large department usually at a local level. Responsibilities may include budget analysis and recommendations, operations analysis, identification and resolution of work flow issues, associate training, service quality, process improvement. Resolves personnel, audit and/or budget issues by researching and analyzing unusual problems, administers bank programs and policies and provides interpretation to department. Requires an in-depth knowledge of bank policies and programs and of the departments functional operations. May direct workflow activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders to drive strategic transformation
  • Design and implement transformational strategies to ensure adoption of new processes and technologies
  • Partner across business and technology teams to ensure the strategy is insight-driven, business-aligned, and future-ready
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in governance and AI/ML; provide recommendations to inform strategic planning
  • Build and/or execute business initiatives and/or processes, while partnering with stakeholders and partners
  • Solve complex problems and deliver on business initiatives and processes by applying subject matter expertise and technical knowledge of the business
  • Engage with key stakeholders, partners, and business leadership to deliver on business objectives
  • Perform analytics, assessments, and/or interpretation of data and/or information to identify business opportunities, derive insights, and measure outcomes
  • Develop strategic and tactical plans to drive progress towards business goals and objectives

Required Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years of experience in Process Engineering, Business Analytics, and Project Management & Support
  • Proven ability to develop strategic objectives aligned to business goals and data priorities
  • Experience developing content that enables C-suite leadership alignment and decision making
  • Engineers solutions to complex problems in support of performance plan objectives to resolve issues and risks, optimize efficiency, reduce variability, and improve controls, effectiveness, quality, and sustainability
  • Demonstrates intellectual curiosity with the ability to read and understand complex matters, anticipate risks, and summarize key information
  • Ability to overcome obstacles and solve problems quickly and efficiently, self-starter with excellent anticipation skills
  • Strong communication skills and executive presence: able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally, and deliver insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Ability to transform complex information and data into clear, concise, and visually engaging slides
  • Strong data visualization, design, and storytelling abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and quality standards
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated dependability and sense of urgency; comfortable working with people at all organizational levels
  • Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events, prioritize, and multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to navigate in a highly matrixed environment
  • Comfortable taking initiative and being resourceful/entrepreneurial

Desired Qualifications:

  • Artificial Intelligence and/or Machine Learning exposure, experience, or training
  • Bachelors Degree

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$120,000.00 - $165,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
