Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in a management consulting, operations, business strategy, marketing strategy, investment banking, venture capital or private equity role, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- 3 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
- 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with analytical problem-solving, quantitative analysis, and communicating findings to executive management.
- Ability to work across teams, build relationships, and influence executives.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of scaling Business-to-Business (B2B)/Business-to-Consumer (B2C) growth marketing within a large company.
About the job
As a Strategy and Operations Manager for Google Ads and Commerce Marketing, you will be a critical member of the Strategy and Operations team responsible for shaping and strengthening global scaled growth marketing strategy. You will work across products supported by our B2B and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) Growth Marketing team to develop integrated marketing strategies and the business and operating plans to bring these strategies to life. You will lead key cross-functional initiatives in support of these strategies.Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. Responsibilities
- Craft marketing strategies by translating business needs into product marketing strategies, working with leadership to develop and prioritize initiatives, and conduct strategic analysis, optimize business performance, and deliver execution.
- Executive initiatives by partnering with marketing and product leaders to operationalize recommendations, identifying teams and Googlers to execute strategy
- Lead annual strategic planning process and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), partnering with executive leadership to develop and cascade priorities that drive business impact.
- Drive financial and resource excellence by overseeing budget, managing resourcing needs, and aligning investments with strategic priorities through the annual planning process.
