About this role
Works under the supervision of the Director of Student Services & Health Careers Education. Handles multiple facets involved in health science student placement as well as assist with the UNC School of Medicine, Wilmington campus
What We're Looking For:Education: High School or GED required. 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience: Two years’ experience in medical setting, education setting, or compatible experience.
Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096.
Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Demonstrates standards of performance (ownership, teamwork, communication, compassion) that support patient satisfaction and principles of service excellence.
What You'll Do:Maintain accurate records for students including orientation/onboarding documentation.
Responsible for maintaining any student related databases including ONE45 and Sakai.
Responsible for processing preceptor payments for the Wilmington campus and submitting correct reconciliation the NHRMC business office.
Responsible for sending preceptors updated assignments and course information as directed
Produce various forms/reports including departmental correspondence
Responsible for getting documentation and completing all requirements for medical student EPIC access.
Assist Information Systems Department with software related problems as needed
Assist AECP with shelf exam administration
Assist Director of Student Affairs with coordinating OSCE’s
Compile students’ feedback from placement evaluations and distribute to preceptors as requested.
Required to be on-call (weekends) for any issues that come up related to student rotations or concerns.
Responsible for upkeep, maintenance and scheduling of Student Lounge.
Assist with scheduling of white space for medical school students.
Maintain correspondence with each Program Coordinator in the Residency programs and other faculty within the school of medicine.
Assist with recruitment activities; students and preceptors.
Maintain School of Medicine website, updating as required.
Assist Director with data, statistics and other preparation for meetings and presentations.
