About this role
About the Department
The person in this position will provide assistance and information to students, parents, school districts and other organizations in the areas of admission, registration and course offerings for the VirtualSC by email, phone and in person. Prepare general correspondence and office information regarding student services to be published online, develop and maintain confidential student records and reports. Assist in the development and implementation of student services provided by the VirtualSC and make recommendations for program improvement. Provide administrative support to other areas of the technical programs within the office. Serve as a resource person for student services and assist with special projects and outreach to schools across the state to promote the program as a viable choice option to students, parents, and school officials. Perform other duties as required.
This position is located in the Office of VirtualSC.
Position Duties
A bachelor's degree.
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience; OR a master's degree and three (3) years of related experience in student services programs, virtual education, educational technology, or customer service.
Other Qualifications
Some overnight travel to conferences, training sessions, workshops and districts may be required.
