Smith & Wesson is seeking a highly motivated Sales Operations Analyst Intern to join our team for Summer 2026. This internship opportunity will provide hands-on experience and exposure to various functions in our Sales department, including compiling, maintaining, and analyzing multiple quantitative data sets to provide evidence‑based insights, driving business decisions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform reporting and analysis to drive and determine trends, forecasts, and major sales initiatives and programs.
- Prepare accurate reports using data from internal and external sources.
- Leverage data to draw actionable insights and inform the sales operations team.
- Build dashboards to automate reporting and generate insights for sales team, operations, and management.
- Participate in training on new systems, programs, and processes which may include assisting in the business requirements or testing phases.
- Substantial communication will be required with both internal and external stakeholders.

Competencies and Skills:
- Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional skills in MS Office Suite -- Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Word.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Must be detail oriented and able to work independently to achieve aggressive task deadlines.
- Confident in quantitative problem‑solving and statistical analysis.
- Ability to think critically and creatively through difficult problems requiring timely response.
- Experience with SAP, SPS Commerce, Qlikview or similar application highly desired.
Physical Demands:
- Works in an office environment.
- Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.

Work Environment and Personal Protective Equipment:
Within the Smith & Wesson manufacturing facility, employees may be exposed to manufacturing noise, airborne liquid chemicals, fine particulate dust, ambient temperatures, and industrial lighting. Work environment is similar to most manufacturing operations. May be exposed to excessive noise, temperatures, hazards associated with working around moving machinery, work in confined quarters, exposure to vibrations and shop lighting, continuous exposure to hot temperatures, may be humid, odors, dust, continuous exposure to mechanical hazards, and occasional exposure to chemical hazards.
The following Personal Protective Equipment is required: Safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection are required when on the manufacturing floor. The use of additional personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required when a job task(s) is being completed in or around your assigned department or in another department, this includes safety eyewear, hearing protection, and safety footwear.
