<li>Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans</li>
<li>Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development through active engagement and positive interactions</li>
<li>Prepare classroom materials and ensure a safe, clean and inviting learning environment </li>
<li>Supervise and provide individualized support to children and foster a sense of belonging</li>
<li>Assist in communicating with families about their child’s progress and daily activities</li>
<li>Adhere to health and safety guidelines and licensing regulations to ensure a secure environment</li>
<li>Support daily care routines and tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment</li>
</ul><div><strong>Qualifications:</strong></div><ul>
<li>High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred</li>
<li>Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting </li>
<li>Shows empathy and compassion for young children</li>
<li>Works productively without supervision</li>
<li>Basic understanding of child development</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children</li>
<li>Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements</li>
