Location: Hybrid (2 days/week in Dallas, TX)

The Summer Associate / Intern program offers an outstanding opportunity to gain hands-on experience with an innovative leader in the healthcare industry. Position Summary

The Social Media Intern will support AMN Healthcare’s enterprise and talent-focused social media efforts. This role provides hands-on experience in social media strategy, content creation, short-form video, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration, with exposure to both B2C and B2B social media marketing within the healthcare industry.

Scope of Work & Responsibilities

The intern will support social media initiatives across the organization by:

  • Assisting with enterprise and candidate-focused social media strategies
  • Supporting employee advocacy program initiatives and content distribution
  • Creating graphics and social media posts using Canva
  • Collaborating with the team to develop, film, and produce short-form video content for platforms such as TikTok
  • Supporting content publishing and coordination across platforms
  • Analyzing social media performance across candidate and client divisions
  • Using analytics and insights to inform content and optimization decisions

Skills & Experience Gained

  • Understanding of B2C and B2B social media marketing in an enterprise organization
  • Experience building and engaging a social media community
  • Hands-on content creation across graphic and video formats
  • Exposure to social media analytics and data-driven decision-making
  • Strengthened communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Development of critical thinking applicable to marketing and communications roles

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 0–2 years of related experience

Additional Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program
  • Preferred majors: Marketing, Communications, or related fields
  • Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, and content creation

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
  • Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

    Pay Rate

    $17.25 - $20.50 Hourly

    Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
