Begin or grow your childcare career with the leader in early childhood education in the Cincinnati area. Full-time and part-time Summer Camp Counselor positions available. Campers range in age from 6-10yrs.  Summer Camp Counselors are welcome to remain with us through the school year, if your school schedule allows.<br><br> </div><div>Happy People please apply! We’ve found that happy, positive people make great Summer Camp Counselors! <br><br> </div><div>The Goddard School is a renowned program with a Piaget (Learning through PLAY) based foundation. The focus of our program is to instill a love of learning while playing and having fun – SUMMER included!<br><br> </div><div><strong>Camp Counselor Primary Responsibilities:</strong></div><div>·       Our counselors are responsible for coordinating and supervising the daily functions of a group of children.  Generally, ages 6-10 yrs.  Counselors will plan and implement FUN and developmentally appropriate activities for children in a safe child-care environment.  Duties include: </div><div>·       Organizing team games such as soccer, kickball and volleyball, explaining the rules and acting as referee or umpire throughout the game  </div><div>·       Leading activities such as crafts and art, demonstrating various techniques and encouraging children to come up with ideas  </div><div>·       Communicating with parents, providing updates where required and answering questions about the camp</div><div>·       Engaging with children to support each child’s social and emotional development</div><div>·       Supervising a group of assigned children on field trips, and on visitor days, making sure they are accounted for and safe.</div><div>·       Providing guidance, motivation and support all camp visitors</div><div>·       Be a great team player and able to work well with other faculty!<br> </div><div><strong>What We Offer:</strong></div><div>·       Flexible hours of work.
