About this role
Are you creative, social media savvy, and curious about how companies attract talent?
We’re looking for an Employer Branding & Recruiting Social Media Summer Intern to help us connect with job seekers through engaging content and digital outreach. This role offers hands-on experience in employer branding, recruiting, and talent marketing while working on real projects that support hiring and strengthen our brand.
You’ll partner with our Talent Acquisition team to create content, support social media campaigns, and help tell our company story in a way that attracts great people.
Schedule:
- Summer Internship (May–August; up to 12 weeks)
- Monday–Friday, up to 40 hours per week
Work Location: Tampa, FL
Work Environment: 90% remote / 10% in office (~ 2x per month)
Pay: $20.00 per hour
What You’ll Do
Content Creation & Employer Brand (Core Project)
- Help build a content library for recruiting and employer branding, including:
- Associate testimonials
- “Day in the life” features
- Culture and workplace highlights
- Reusable graphics and templates for job postings
- Create short-form content such as graphics and captions
- Partner with recruiters and associates to gather stories, photos, and real associate experiences
Content Planning
- Develop and recommend a social media content calendar aligned to hiring priorities
- Research best days and times to post across platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
Internal Engagement
- Support content and communications that promote the employee referral program
- Assist with initiatives that encourage employee reviews on sites such as Glassdoor and Indeed
Analytics & Insights
- Track basic performance metrics such as reach, engagement, clicks, and applications
- Share simple insights on what content and channels are performing best
Collaboration & Support
- Partner with recruiters to understand priority roles and align content to hiring needs
- Monitor comments and messages, and route candidate questions to the recruiting team

What We’re Looking For
- Current college junior or senior, or recent graduate, pursuing or holding a degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Hands-on experience managing or creating content for social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and/or TikTok) for a school organization, internship, personal brand, or business
- Demonstrated ability to plan, create, and publish social media content, including writing captions and selecting visuals
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail
- Creative mindset with the ability to turn ideas into engaging content
- Experience using or willingness to learn generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT or Copilot) to support content creation
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks
