Summer Intern - Fixed Asset Audit

JOB SUMMARY:

This is a 2026 summer internship in our Finance department. The Intern will physically audit a selection of Fixed Assets on the criteria of those that are currently in use, physical location, and inventory on assets with tags present. Exceptions will be documented and resolved during the audit phase.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

• Obtain List of assets
• Organize audit plan
• Contact various departments
• Physically validate the fixed asset tag with listing and verify the condition of the asset
• Track results
• Complete disposal paperwork if applicable
• Write and present a summary for Management

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good communication skills

• Microsoft office suite capable with focus on Excel

• Must be currently enroll in an accredited college or university and must reside in the United States. 

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Accounting/Finance major preferred

COMPENSATION: 

The compensation for this position is $20.00 per hour.  This position is eligible for overtime.
