Summer Intern – Hardware Engineer

As a hardware engineering intern, you will be a part of a team delivering solutions for customers and clients that seek to streamline the way Allegion does business. Working on a team that works to solve business problems in creative and efficient ways, you will learn to think outside of the box, implement scalable solutions, and follow best practices of both the software engineering and security industry.

What You Will Do:

• Actively get involved in engineering design, product development and testing process.
• Participate in development discussions and implement solutions on real projects.
• Work under immediate supervision of more experienced engineers.
• Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities with Allegion.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline, e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering
• Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly.
• An inquisitive nature that seeks to understand concepts and principles about software and the Allegion business practices
• Effective listening, time management and creative problem-solving techniques
• A desire to learn, grow and develop by working on projects that will impact Allegion’s business and customers
