About the Role

At Harman, we believe in fostering talent and providing a platform for learning through practical exposure. We are currently offering an exciting internship opportunity in the field of Cloud-based software development for our innovative applications. As an integral part of the software development team, your primary role will be to contribute to the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge cloud technologies to create scalable and high-performance applications.

What You Will Do

  • Assist in Cloud Management including operations, provisioning, security hardening and user management.
  • Assist in relatively small projects related to CloudHub and other automation
  • Work with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Use GitHub to track and share code
  • Write and run unit tests or see how the QA process works
  • Participate in team meetings, code reviews, or peer programming to collaborate with team members.
  • Assist in designing software features or modules.
  • Learn data processing or handling techniques.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Degree must be in related area of work with courses in Computer Science or Information Management Systems or Business Administration
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to confidently interact and present information to senior leaders
  • Must work collaboratively with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

What Makes You Eligible

  • Must be currently enrolled in a related Bachelor's Degree program or higher at an accredited institution having completed your Sophomore year or later, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter before participation in the internship program, and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program
  • Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA
  • Be willing to work in an office in Novi, Michigan.
  • Able to provide your own housing and transportation to/from work.
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
  • Must provide full work availability from May 18, 2026 through August 7, 2026 and be able to work 40 hours per week
