Position Duties

  1. Assists in answering multiline phones and working reception desks and communicates professionally with individuals under supervision, members of the public, CSCD staff, court staff, government agencies and other individuals.
  2. Using County and CSCD computer information, determines the correct status of individuals under supervision and the appropriate routing of cases.
  3. Assists with entering data and scanning documents into the case management system of a highly sensitive nature and maintains its confidentiality in accordance with the CSCD policy.
  4. Maintains and troubleshoots officer equipment and coordinates with service providers.
  5. Stocks and maintains office supplies and forms.
  6. Directs individuals under supervision and others to the appropriate office or individual.
  7. Accepts and records receipts of court ordered funds, research account discrepancies, maintains balances, prepares deposits, researches and locates victim information for restitution payments and applies payments appropriately.
  8. Maintains security of received monies.
  9. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and two (2) full-time years related experience.  

  • Knowledge of principles, practices, and methods of office procedures.  

  • Ability to use personal computer, utilizing word processing and spreadsheet applications.  

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.  Ability to handle multiple tasks.

Other Qualifications

While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent is regularly required to sit, walk, climb, stoop, lift, push and pull.

Regular attendance is essential. Incumbent must arrive at work on time, prepared to perform assigned duties and work assigned schedule. Incumbent must have the ability to work well with others. Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves and others.  Requested accommodations to work hours and schedules are considered on an individual basis. Tarrant County will conduct background checks on new hires that will include a criminal background check related to convictions and deferred adjudications in the past seven years and may include credit reports, motor vehicle records, employment records, and educational attainment. Decision Making

Basic duties are assigned and reviewed by the supervisor or CSCD management.  Interacts with department supervisors, line staff and managers in the daily performance of duties.   Various outside vendors, professional, community, federal and state agencies.
