About this role
Responsible for the management of all aspects of the clinical practice for the Rochester Division of Cardiovascular Ultrasound, which includes outpatient and inpatient services. This includes direct supervision of all levels of Cardiac Sonographers and other Allied Health Staff. Responsible for personnel management, budgeting and cost management, customer service, operational improvements, accreditation compliance, CI projects, and other projects. Works closely with the Echo research unit and staff, Education and Quality Coordinator, and MSHS Echo Program staff to provide high quality patient care and coordination of clinical, research and educational objectives.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited program for Echocardiography required.
Credentialed sonographer with five (5) years clinical experience required.
Must have strong interpersonal skills, communication and problem solving skills, ability to be flexible and work in cooperation with other members of the Division of Cardiovascular Ultrasound. Master’s degree preferred. Three (3) years leadership experience preferred.
Licensure or Certification:
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) in Adult Echo required.
Minimum of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification accepted.
