Implement various programs EEO, merit promotions, career development, affirmative action to achieve equitable treatment of employees.,Assign duties and responsibilities to subordinate employees, establishes work performance standards for employees, prepares annual performance ratings, approves/disapproves employee annual leave, initiates personnel actions.,Responsible for development, review, and revisions of program of instruction (POI) that complement and enhance using units training programs as well as the overall Army Aviation Training Program.,Conduct instrument training, and instrument flight evaluation utilizing the UH-60 "Blackhawk" Flight Simulator.,Instruct/evaluate rated active military aviators to determine individual ability to perform duties as aviator, instructor or examiner from a crew station with access to the aircraft controls and IAW AR 95-1 and the specific air crew training manual

Current Department of Army Civilian Employees Applying on Time-Limited Assignments In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction, which includes 1)develop effective training plans, 2) instruct and evaluate military personnel on individual ability as an aviator, 3) perform supervisor duties such as supervise, schedule planning, and performance management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS 11 or above. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Curriculum Development Education / Training Program Administration Managing Human Resources Training and Education Analysis Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).

Position may be filled as a time-limited promotion, reassignment or change to lower grade not to exceed 5 years by a current permanent Army employee. Time-limited promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years. Time limited reassignments and changes to lower grade may exceed five years, however return rights may be impacted.
