About this role

The Data Analytics and AI Intern will work alongside cross-functional teams to support the development, deployment, and enhancement of data-driven solutions using analytics and artificial intelligence. This hands-on internship will expose the candidate to real-world projects involving data modeling, machine learning, business intelligence, and operational optimization. This role is ideal for students who are passionate about solving business problems through data and emerging technologies like AI, ML, and predictive analytics.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Data Collection & Preparation

    • Assist with data wrangling, cleaning, and transformation across multiple structured and unstructured data sources.
    • Collaborate with data engineers to validate data integrity and availability for analytical use.
  • Analytics & Visualization

    • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
    • Build dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Python libraries.
  • AI & Machine Learning Projects

    • Support development of machine learning models for use cases such as predictive maintenance, quality forecasting, supply chain optimization, and anomaly detection.
    • Assist in training, validating, and testing models using frameworks like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Business Collaboration & Insights

    • Translate business questions into data problems and help derive actionable insights.
    • Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders using clear visuals and storytelling.
  • Research & Innovation

    • Stay updated on AI/ML trends, tools, and techniques and provide recommendations for adoption.
    • Conduct literature reviews or benchmarking studies to support internal innovation initiatives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Student working towards a bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management, Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau); familiarity with ERP systems, AI, VBA, and/or Python is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
