About this role
Position
Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking a Supply Chain Distribution Intern – RTW & Shoes. As a valued member of the Supply Chain team, this role will support the efficient management of inventory, with a focus on Made-to-Order requests, strategic zone transfers and rebalances, and end-of-life product strategies. The position is well suited for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and organized, with an interest in supporting timely and accurate product delivery to help maximize sales potential while contributing to the Maison’s image and retail objectives.
The intern will work closely with Merchandising, Logistics, and Retail teams to support the smooth execution of product distribution.
Job responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Flow Management
- Support exceptional product flows to help provide premium service to VICs
- Assist with the Made-to-Order process, helping ensure a seamless experience from central fulfillment to the client
- Collaborate with Central Distribution and Merchandising to support strategic zone transfers and rebalances that enhance inventory optimization and reduce potential depreciation
- Support the execution of end-of-life obsolete product management strategies
Analysis & Optimization
- Monitor and help improve conversion on Made-to-Order and zone transfer flows
- Provide reporting and analysis on the effectiveness of zone rebalances, highlighting key successes and areas for improvement
- Analyze data related to obsolete inventory to support effective end-of-life strategies
- Support continuous optimization of distribution flows through system enhancements and new processes, particularly concerning Made-to-Order and zone rebalance/transfer management
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Central Supply Chain counterparts to support cohesive operations across Made-to-Order, zone rebalances/transfers, and obsolete management
- Collaborate with Merchandising to mitigate depreciation risk through execution of zone rebalances
- Provide support to Retail teams to help ensure the smooth distribution of exceptional flows
Innovation & Agility
- Identify and support process improvements related to Made-to-Order request management and zone rebalance/transfer efficiency
- Develop reporting and tools to enhance visibility and communication of Made-to-Order requests, zone rebalances/transfers, and obsolete scope with key partners
- Support ad-hoc projects and special initiatives across the RTW & Shoes categories
Profile
We welcome candidates with a strong interest in distribution, allocation, or supply chain, particularly within a luxury or fashion environment.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business results into actionable insights
- Interest in the luxury retail landscape; familiarity with RTW and Shoes is a plus
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, and SQL is preferred; familiarity with Python is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build effective working relationships with stakeholders
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy, ownership, and follow-through
Compensation
- Undergraduate Interns will be compensated at: $20/hour
- Graduate Interns will be compensated at $25/hour
Criteria
- Currently enrolled undergraduate/graduate student pursuing a degree in related field of study
- Able and willing to work at assigned location or able and willing to relocate to NYC
- We welcome candidates that can commit to a full-time basis for up to 37.5 hours per week from August 2026 to December 2026.
- Legally authorized to work in the US

The position requires 4-5 days per week on site in the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office, located in the heart of Midtown, Manhattan.
