About this role
Position
Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking a Supply Chain Distribution Planning Intern – High Watches High Jewelry for Fall 2026 to join our Supply Chain team based out of our New York City office.
As a key member of the Supply Chain team, you will contribute to the success of Louis Vuitton's supply chain operations, with a particular focus on supporting the High Watches & High Jewelry activity. This internship offers a unique opportunity to help manage stock allocation and client orders across the Americas while supporting strategic projects tied to data analytics, reporting, and event coordination.
You will collaborate closely with Retail, Merchandising, Logistics, Transportation, Distribution Center, Repair Center, and regional Supply Chain teams to support exceptional product flows, client order fulfillment, and inventory optimization.
Job responsibilities
Inventory Management & Logistics Support
- Proactively monitor inventory levels across retail stores for High Jewelry to identify stock optimization opportunities.
- Coordinate HJ/HW exceptional flows, store transfers, caravans, and in-store events with Logistics, Transportation, Distribution Center, Repair Center, and Merchandising teams.
- Provide support for transversal events, including Les Extraordinaires, Hardsided, Exotic Leather Goods, Home Lifestyle, Watches & Jewelry.
Client Order Fulfillment
- Create Power BI reports to proactively monitor inventory levels across retail stores and identify stock optimization opportunities.
- Create KPI and Power BI reporting to monitor client order fulfillment status and ETA accuracy.
- Communicate with Retail and Merchandising teams on order ETAs and in-transit stock to support high-end client appointments.
Analysis & Optimization
- Provide ad-hoc analytical support to address critical business questions related to the Watches & Jewelry Supply Chain.
- Develop reporting and tools to enhance visibility, communication, and follow-up on inventory, client orders, and exceptional flows.
- Support continuous improvement of distribution planning processes through data analytics, reporting enhancements, and cross-functional collaboration.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Supply Chain, regional, distribution, demand planning, merchandising, and distribution center teams to ensure aligned execution.
- Support clear communication between Supply Chain, Retail, and Merchandising partners to help deliver a client-centric experience.
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects and special initiatives across the High Watches & High Jewelry activity.
Profile
We welcome candidates with a strong interest in distribution, allocation, or supply chain, particularly within a luxury or fashion environment.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business results into actionable insights
- Interest in the luxury retail landscape; familiarity with RTW and Shoes is a plus
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, and SQL is preferred; familiarity with Python is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build effective working relationships with stakeholders
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy, ownership, and follow-through
Compensation
- Undergraduate Interns will be compensated at: $20/hour
- Graduate Interns will be compensated at $25/hour
Criteria
- Currently enrolled undergraduate/graduate student pursuing a degree in related field of study. Recent graduates are also welcomed to apply.
- Able and willing to work at assigned location or able and willing to relocate to NYC
- We welcome candidates that can commit to a full-time basis for up to 37.5 hours per week from September 2026 to December 2026.
- Legally authorized to work in the US
This position requires 4 days per week on site in the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office, located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan.
