What does your role bring to the table?
At Snooze, food matters! The Supply Chain Manager plays a
vital role in allowing Snooze to continue to be an industry leader within the
restaurant environment. By utilizing our Snooze Approved food sourcing
standards this individual will assist in making critical food and beverage
supplier decisions that align with our company's core values in sustainability
and product quality. By being a champion of eggs and bacon this individual will
ensure smooth restaurant operations by leading the systems and procurement
processes necessary to deliver a great Guest Experience. The Supply Chain
Manager will report directly to the VP of Procurement and through their
partnership they will drive critical key initiatives surrounding purchasing,
sourcing, vendor relationships, restaurant management collaboration, and
overall departmental functionality. This role will hold vital the belief that
our community at large is inclusive of the many supplier relationships that
help us deliver an unrivaled breakfast experience.
The Position Specifics
Taking on the role of Supply Chain Manager isn’t just about bacon and pancakes. The responsibilities of this position include:
· Oversee and execute daily administrative tasks within the purchasing department, including but not limited to managing out-of-stock items, inventory levels, special orders, and freight across broad-line distribution to minimize risk and identify opportunities.
· Maintain contract management, renewals, monthly pricing audits, and financial analysis of impacts.
· Manage quality assurance issues and resolution with vendors.
· Maintain HACCP files and vendor compliance.
· Maintain “Snooze Approved” to include vetting of suppliers, specification sheets, ingredient statements and caloric impact.
· Maintain inventory platform to include new item setup and mapping, vendor setups, vendor integrations, SUPC’s, recipes, mapping, and more.
· Act as the first point of contact for the restaurant management teams and field support for questions regarding inventory, orders, and purchasing.
· Collaborate with the menu innovation and culinary team on all research and development, pilots, request of samples, SKU rationalization, LTO needs, availability of products, forecasting, costs and communication across all regions.
· Support restaurant operations through various operational enhancements and product improvements.
· Collaborate with the Director of Purchasing to meet all department goals.
· Additional roles and responsibilities required to meet the company’s goals and priorities
· Other tasks, duties, and responsibilities as assigned to meet Snooze’s business and operational goals and priorities

Let’s Talk Prerequisites! (Education, Credentials, and Experience)
· 2+ years of procurement contract management, sourcing, and supplier relationship management experience
· 2+ years food & beverage/hospitality industry experience (preferred)
· 2+ years of experience in culinary arts or kitchen-specific positions (preferred)
· Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools e.g. Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint and Teams
· Strong MS Excel knowledge is required to perform complex calculations, merge data from multiple tables/sources, and scrub data
· Must be authorized to work in the United States
Let’s Get Physical (Additional Requirements)
· Must have the stamina to work 45 to 55 hours per week
· Travel required for this position is approximately 10% and you must be able to travel for up to 5 days at one time (air, car, bus. Train, and weekend travel all required)
· Home base is in Denver, CO at the Snooze Restaurant Support Center (3 days a week required in office)
The Nitty Gritty Details
Denver area base salary range: $70,000-$90,000 per year
The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the Snooze salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Snooze’s total compensation package for employees.
