Duties

Provides staff assistance in all areas of supply and logistics management for the SROTC Program and affiliates within the Task Force structure.,Forecasts, requests and manages the Operations and Maintenance, Army (OMA) and Military Personnel, Army (MPA) budgets for the host program and affiliates within the task force structure.,Accounts for property and manages various classes of supplies at the host and affiliated programs.,Utilizes various automated computer/software applications to prepare documents involving supply transactions, management reports and logistics.

Qualifications

APPOINTMENT INFORMATION: Position may be filled as a temporary promotion or detail NTE one YEAR by a current permanent Army employee. Temporary promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years. Position may be made permanent without further competition. Employees currently located in OCONUS (foreign or non-foreign) are not eligible for a detail to a CONUS position. Current Department of Army Civilian Employees In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Ensuring record management files are properly maintained, following procedures to inspect supply or equipment for discrepancies, Operating automated word processing equipment with hardware and software components to prepare a variety of material such as correspondence, forms, reports, etc., Maintaining property book in accordance with applicable regulations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service at the GS-6 level. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Customer Service Flexibility Integrity/Honesty Interpersonal Skills Reading Comprehension Reasoning Self-Management Teamwork Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
