Responsibilities
- Ability to troubleshoot basic IDEMIA livescan/workstation application.
- Provide software and hardware support on MBIS product line.
- Provide software support on facial recognition systems.
- Be able to participate with on-call rotation/standby
- Familiar with VPN, and remote support.
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow through with tasks and projects.
- Ability to manage work-related expenses, submitting applicable documentation in accordance with company policy.
- Willing to work on company products at customer locations (Law enforcement agencies, jail, or intake facilities).
Qualifications
- Excellent customer relationship and support experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces (CLI).
- Solid hands-on experience with hardware, including servers, PCs/laptops, and printers.
- Good understanding of data communications and networking concepts.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies.
- Experience with Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
- Foundational experience with Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 and Active Directory.
- Basic understanding of relational databases.
- Entry-level experience with storage systems and RAID technologies.
- Familiarity with backup, recovery, and imaging applications.
- Understanding of IT security practices, including patch management and antivirus solutions.
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to pass a security background check and/or clearance required by law enforcement customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) or Computer Science.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
